Meet Deirdre Simmons, our dedicated Barnegat Manager. Deirdre initially joined our team as a groomer in April 2022 and has now taken on the role of managing our Barnegat Salon while continuing to work as a groomer. With 9 years of experience in the grooming industry, including 6 years as a professional groomer, Deirdre excels in hand scissoring and specializes in providing a comfortable grooming experience for senior dogs. Her career path is driven by a deep love for dogs and animals, a passion that is truly remarkable. Deirdre finds joy in pampering dogs during their spa days, ensuring both the pets and their owners leave with smiles of satisfaction. 

Mari's love for animals sparked at a young age, propelling her into a career in the pet industry. Recognizing her talent for grooming, she pursued further education to become a proficient dog trainer. Through years of dedication, Mari has become a highly sought-after groomer, earning the title of Ocean County's best Groomer multiple times.

With a diverse client base including breeders, pet rescues, and cherished family pets, Mari has established a reputation for excellence in the grooming field. Her meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle even the most challenging dogs have distinguished her from her colleagues.

Beyond her grooming expertise, Mari actively participates in animal rescue efforts, assisting in finding homes for animals in need.

Despite her numerous accolades, Mari remains humble and appreciative of the opportunities she has received. Continuously expanding her knowledge and skills, she strives to deliver top-notch care to her furry clients. With over three decades of experience and an unwavering passion for animals, Mari is a formidable presence in the grooming industry.

Lilly has been immersed in the grooming industry for as long as she can remember, starting her journey at just 15 years old as a receptionist. Her passion for dogs soon led her to become a bather, and ultimately, a skilled groomer. Now, with nearly four years of grooming experience under her belt, Lilly has developed a profound love for her craft and the furry clients she serves.

Lilly's dedication to her work goes beyond simply making dogs look good; she is committed to ensuring that every pet feels calm, safe, and cared for during their grooming experience. Her positive energy and gentle demeanor create a welcoming environment, allowing dogs to relax and enjoy their time with her. Over the past few years, Lilly has cultivated a loyal clientele, a testament to her skill and the trust she builds with both pets and their owners.

Understanding the importance of maintaining a loving temperament, Lilly approaches each day with a happy and positive mindset, ensuring that her furry friends receive the best care possible.  From a young age, Rose demonstrated a profound love for animals. This early fascination blossomed into a dedicated career in animal care, particularly in grooming. In 2016, Rose began her journey as a bather, and by 2017, she had transitioned to a skilled groomer. Her commitment to the craft, combined with her experience in shelters and rescue organizations, has made her a beloved figure in her community.

Rose’s dedication to animal welfare is evident in her pursuit of formal education as an animal control officer, as well as her CPR certification for dogs and cats. After five years in a corporate grooming environment, she embraced the opportunity to work at a local mom-and-pop shop, where her grooming skills and compassionate approach have garnered her a loyal clientele.

Currently, Rose shares her life with with her husband, six dogs, horses, and chickens, embodying her passion for a variety of animals. She actively fosters dogs and volunteers with a rescue organization, dedicating her days off to helping animals in need. When she’s not grooming, Rose enjoys training her dogs and gardening alongside her chickens.

As she continues her journey at Mari’s Grooming, Rose looks forward to contributing her expertise and love for animals for years to come. She is excited about the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of the pets she grooms and to be part of a team that shares her commitment to animal care.
